| When the NSCD moved its corporate offices to Denver in the spring of 2002, Wells Fargo enthusiastically responded to calls for assistance with office space and in-kind support. By donating approximately 3,000 square feet in downtown Denver, as well as providing phone service, parking, and postage, Wells Fargo quickly became a significant partner of the NSCD. In addition, the company sponsors one of NSCD's largest fundraising events, the Wells Fargo Bank Cup. |
Winter
Park Resort has been the home and partner of the NSCD
since 1970. Each year, the company has provided close
to $1 million in cash and in-kind services, including
lift tickets, season passes for winter volunteers and
slope-side space used to house the NSCD offices and equipment
room. In addition the resort hosts two fundraising events
for the NSCD on a yearly basis; the Wells Fargo Bank Cup,
and the Rocky Mountain Wine, Beer, and Food Festival. |
Over the past five years, Sports Authority has contributed
close to half a million
dollars in financial and in-kind support to the NSCD.
The company has donated hundreds of snowboards, skis,
bindings, boots, and poles to the winter program and
has outfitted the staff and volunteers with uniforms.
In addition, they have played an enormous role in the
success of our special events, sponsoring two annual
golf tournaments, garnering significant support and
funds for the NSCD.
