Recreation Program Prices
Our group pricing allows you to bring more people without increasing the per person rate. By bringing more people, the per person rate will decrease.
Activities include: Hiking, Archery/Airgun, Nordic, NSCD Moves!, Orienteering, Indoor Rock Climbing, Lake Day/Flat Water Paddling (SUP, Kayak, Canoe), Road Cycling

A minimum requirement of five participants is necessary for a custom group. All participants must be 5 years of age or older. Available activities vary by location.
Winter Programs
Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding & Ski Bike
Sit or stand lessons for two-track, three-track, four-track, bi-ski, mono-ski, snowboard and ski bike.

Nordic Skiing & Snowshoeing
Enjoy the quiet serenity of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Broad valleys with little elevation gain to whoop-de-do hills offer terrain choices to meet the desires of all participants. Nordic skiing and snowshoeing are easier and more fun than you might think!

Rock Climbing
The NSCD climbing program has something for everyone at every ability level. Our staff provides a peak therapeutic experience while passing along the skills instrumental to being a successful climber. Reach new heights as you build your skills on the wall!

Shooting Sports – Airgun
A fun, safe, educational, and adaptive 10m air rifle experience for athletes of any ability. Athletes will have the chance to shoot Olympic grade air rifles at a local area indoor range. This program is modular and can be hosted at a range of locations due to the ballistic curtain backdrop and mobile shooting traps.

Join us for all levels of archery. Are you a beginner that’s never loosed a bolt? Old pro who wants to be competitive? Our team will meet you where you are in the sport and take you where you want to go.

Summer Programs
Road Cycling
Explore a variety of paved trails and get away from it all while powering entirely by your own strength. Our brand new fleet of hand and leg powered bikes and trikes provide freedom on the trails and help you discover your full potential.

Winter Park Resort Activities
The NSCD staff will host your family or group while you enjoy the Rocky Mountains and experience the thrill of new adventures on the alpine slide, miniature golf course, gondola rides, high and low ropes course, and climbing wall.

NSCD Moves!
Your group will jump, balance, squeeze and crawl over our custom-designed obstacle course. The course works to improve bilateral coordination, depth perception, muscle strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, spatial concepts, motor skills, full body fitness, mental toughness and overall flexibility. It is adaptable for wheelchairs!

Lake Day Fun
Join us for a fun filled day of canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding! All equipment, including personal floatation devices and games to play while on shore will be provided as well as an overview of all safety information, equipment descriptions, and paddle progression. NSCD will be there to assist with paddling and continuously monitor safety.

Orienteering
Join NSCD staff as you use maps and a compass to solve a scavenger hunt!

Hiking
Come experience the thrill and views of Grand County! Enjoy hiking with adaptations for all ability levels.

Rafting
Come experience the thrill of rafting Class II/III rapids on the beautiful Upper Colorado River with your family and friends.

Archery

Therapeutic Horseback Riding
Therapeutic riding involves teaching riding skills to riders with disabilities, with adaptations as needed. The primary goal of therapeutic riding is to learn riding and horsemanship skills. We offer group trail rides, arena work, and ground therapy.

Kayaking
Enjoy customizable kayaks, canoes, and Standup Paddleboards progressions for all ability levels. Our instructors will review the key client information provided prior to the start of the class and will conduct an on-site assessment to help outfit the participant with the right watercraft and adaptations to be successful with the challenge of paddle sports.
