What:
Athletes in the Denver Select Team receive top level coaching in the sport of soccer. Athletes are focused on more technical training. Exhibitions will be played against able bodied USYSA recreational teams with comparable ability levels.
Athletes may have the opportunity to travel to the Mid America games in Kansas City, May 1-3 to participate in a round robin tournament with other Select teams.
Who:
Athletes with a physical disability such as Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Spina Bifida, Amputation, or Muscle Disorder who are looking for more competitive play and higher level of dedication.
When:
Spring Season starts April 6-May 22, 2009
Where: Practice 2x per week, Sunday and Tuesday- Games to be set up during the week against other recreation teams: Rush, Storm, Fuison, Edge.
