In 2004 in partnership with Denver professional sports teams and other community organizations, the National Sports Center for the Disabled expanded to provide high-quality therapeutic sports and recreational opportunities throughout the Denver Metro area.  Based off the same therapeutic and accessibility principles as the Winter Park programs, NSCD Metro Programs offer a wide-range of activities for both children and adults to participate in.
