Military Programs
Military members, active or Veteran, are welcome at all NSCD programs. Below are programs specifically designed for veterans or programs that have special pricing for military. Participants must be independent and manage self-care or bring a care-giver to provide assistance.
Military IDs are required at check-in for all of our programs.
For some of our programs, a $25 non-refundable registration fee will be due upon reservation. This will be notated on all programs that it applies.

Join fellow military members every Friday for a day of outdoor adventure and recreation. Adventures include kayak, paddle board, target archery, disc golf and fishing.
Military members must register in advance to participate. Please call (303) 515-NSCD (6723) if you need assistance with registering.
Price: Free to military with a disability. Personal Care Providers are $30 per person.

Military Adventure Camp
This 4-day, 3-night adventure includes mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and a lake day for military members, active or Veteran, with disabilities! Transportation from Denver, lodging and food provided. Space is limited to 10 participants. Participants must be independent in their own care and meet basic essential criteria to register for the camp.

Military Lake Day Fun – DENVER
Join us for a fun Lake Day! NSCD will provide kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards. Enjoy the sun on your face, smell of burgers on the grill, and relax on the lake. These days are for military members only, active duty or Veteran’s. Friends and family welcome, but must register separately, $30/person for family or friends.

Ski and Snowboard Programs for Military
This activity is for military members, active or Veteran, of any age who have a disability and want to learn or improve ski or snowboard skills.
Programs Include: One all-day alpine ski, snowboard or Nordic lesson, lift ticket and equipment
