Program Instructor – Winter (Seasonal)

Open until filled — don’t wait to apply!

Winter at NSCD means fresh snow, big mountains, and the chance to watch someone stick their first turn on adaptive equipment. As a Winter Program Instructor, you’ll be right there making it happen.

You’ll teach alpine skiing, snowboarding, ski biking, and Nordic skiing to individuals with disabilities through individual lessons, group sessions, and custom programming. Working alongside volunteers and fellow instructors, you’ll help athletes progress on the mountain while building the kind of confidence that carries off the slopes too. Qualified instructors may also lead training clinics for staff and volunteers.

Reporting to the Program Supervisor, you’ll assess student needs, plan lessons using adaptive sports and recreation techniques, select the right equipment and teaching systems for each athlete, and keep accurate records to track progress over time. You’ll also help run weekly programs, support multi-day camps, and pitch in on NSCD volunteer and special events throughout the season.

If skiing or riding is your thing and you’re ready to help people rethink what’s possible on snow, we want to hear from you.
