Explore Colorado’s trails and roads with our adaptive mountain biking and cycling programs. We offer an extensive fleet of handcycles and youth-sized recumbent bikes designed for paved paths and roadways, along with a state-of-the-art fleet of Bowhead and Reactive Adaptive mountain bikes and two-wheel fat tire bikes for off-road adventures.
Our mountain biking programs take place in Denver/Golden and Grand County and offer terrain for all ability levels, from beginner to expert. Our experienced instructors will help fit you with the right bike and guide you through techniques to ride the trails safely and confidently.

Mountain Bike Camp
Join us for a 4-day, 3-night biking adventure in the Rocky Mountains. Participants will build skills and confidence through group lessons using state-of-the-art mountain bike and road cycling equipment while exploring incredible mountain terrain. Camp includes transportation from Denver, lodging, meals, and guided riding experiences alongside fellow riders.
Bike Fleet Capacity
We have a limited number of hand cycles for this camp. A staff member will contact you to be sure we have a bike that fits your needs. These hand cycles are on a first come, first serve basis. If we cannot accommodate your needs, your reservation will be refunded in full.
Caregiver & Independence Requirements
Participants should be independent in their personal care or attend with a caregiver.
If bringing a caregiver:

Please notify NSCD at least 2 weeks in advance so lodging arrangements can be made.

Caregivers requiring lodging and meals will be charged $50 per day ($200 total).

Community Ride
Golden Bicycle Cruise – Community Ride
Join us as we take part in the Golden Bicycle Cruise, a fun, family-friendly community ride in Golden, Colorado! The ride features a creative theme, and participants are encouraged to wear costumes and decorate their bikes. With 100-150 riders of all ages rolling through town, it’s a lively and welcoming way to ride together and be part of the community as we ride an easy 9 mile loop.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are a great way to receive one-on-one instruction tailored to your goals, ability level, and learning style. Whether you’re brand new to adaptive mountain biking or looking to refine your skills on the trails, our experienced instructors will work with you at your own pace. With personalized guidance and the right equipment, you’ll build confidence, improve technique, and get the most out of your time on the bike.
