Adaptive Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Nordic Skiing, Ski Biking, & Snowshoeing for People with Disabilities
From first-time skiers to experienced riders, NSCD adaptive winter sports programs create opportunities to learn, progress, and thrive on the mountain.
Lessons are tailored to each participant’s goals and supported by specialized equipment and expert adaptive instructors.
Participant Info:
- Ages 4+ (minimum age can vary by activity)
- Open to a variety of skill and ability levels with no prior experience needed
- All lessons include a Winter Park Resort lift ticket, expert instruction, and adaptive equipment matched to each participant’s needs
- Sit ski, ski bike, stand ski, and snowboards available. Sit ski participants have a maximum weight limit of 200lbs
- Independent self-care or caregiver support is required

RegisterAges 4–13 | Children with disabilities join Winter Park Resort Ski & Ride School lessons alongside peers with support from an NSCD instructor. Available for stand skiing and snowboarding participants.

RegisterAges 18+ | Designed for independent skiers and snowboarders seeking additional support navigating the mountain with the assistance of a trained guide.
