Adaptive Mountain Biking for People with Disabilities
Ride Colorado’s trails and mountain terrain through biking experiences designed for new or experienced riders with any type of disability.
Using specialized adaptive bikes and guidance from NSCD’s expert instructors, participants can build skills and independence on an adaptive mountain bike while enjoying the outdoors.
Participant Info:
- Ages 13+ depending on the participant’s size and ability to safely ride an adaptive mountain bike (minimum age varies by each activity)
- Adaptive equipment available | Bike fitting required prior to lesson
- Open to a variety of skill and ability levels with no prior experience needed
- Independent self-care or caregiver support is required
