Adaptive Indoor & Outdoor Rock Climbing for People with Disabilities
Whether you’re new to climbing or building your skills, the NSCD offers experienced instructors, adaptive equipment, and personalized instruction in both indoor and outdoor climbing environments.
Program Flexibility: The NSCD also has a portable climbing wall and adaptive equipment that allows our team to bring climbing experiences to schools, community events, and outdoor locations.
Participant Info:
- Ages 5+ (minimum age varies by each activity)
- Open to a variety of skill and ability levels with no prior experience needed
- Adaptive equipment provided
- Independent self-care or caregiver support is required

Private Lessons
RegisterAges 5+ | One-on-one climbing instruction allows participants to learn at their own pace while focusing on personal goals, climbing technique, and skill development in either indoor or outdoor settings.

Outdoor Climbing Club
RegisterAges 5+ | NSCD’s outdoor climbing club is for youth, teens, and adults with disabilities. It introduces participants to the fundamentals of rock climbing while providing opportunities to develop skills, connect with peers, and experience climbing on real rock in a supportive environment.

Climbing Camp
RegisterAges 8+ | This four-day summer camp combines indoor and outdoor climbing experiences to help participants build climbing skills, learn belaying and movement techniques, and gain experience climbing both in the gym and on natural rock.

Custom Group Adventures
RegisterAges 5+ | Groups of five or more can experience adaptive rock climbing together through customized programs designed for schools, organizations, families, and community groups.
