Archery & Air Rifle Activities for People with Disabilities

The NSCD’s shooting sports programs help participants with disabilities build focus, precision, and confidence in a safe, supportive environment. Led by experienced instructors, sessions are tailored to each participant and offered in both indoor and outdoor settings..

Program Flexibility: Mobile equipment allows shooting sports instruction to be offered at a variety of indoor and outdoor locations, depending on the season and venue.

Participant Info:

  • Ages 5+
  • Open to a variety of skill and ability levels with no prior experience needed
  • Adaptive equipment provided
  • Independent self-care or caregiver support is required

SHOOTING SPORTS ACTIVITIES

    Air Rifle Private Lessons

    Ages 5+ | Participants receive one-on-one instruction using Olympic-grade 10 meter air rifles in a safe, indoor range environment. Lessons are designed to introduce or refine shooting technique while providing adaptive support for a wide range of abilities.

    Archery Private Lessons

    Ages 5+ | One-on-one instruction introduces participants to compound bow shooting. Lessons focus on technique, form, and individualized skill development at indoor or outdoor ranges.

    Custom Group Adventures

    Ages 5+ | Groups of five or more can participate in adaptive shooting sports experiences designed for schools, organizations, families, and community groups, with programming tailored to participant goals and ability levels.
