Snowboarding has always been a big part of George’s life. He spent years traveling to different ski areas, snowboarding with friends, and building a love for the mountains. 

But everything changed when a spinal cord tumor left him partially paralyzed, and the life he once knew felt suddenly out of reach…

Through NSCD’s adaptive programs, George has the ability to get back on snow.

George discovered a renewed sense of freedom through adaptive skiing. 

It’s more than just the thrill of flying down the mountain again. It’s experiencing togetherness and inclusion. It’s the community found in being able to shred with his friends again. 

It’s the ability for George to reclaim his life.
