OUR MISSION
To advance the power of people with all abilities through adaptive innovation and the joy of recreation and outdoor experiences.
Since 1970, the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) has been helping people with disabilities discover what’s possible through adaptive sports and outdoor recreation.
From skiing and snowboarding to mountain biking, climbing, horseback riding, paddling, and more, our year-round activities create opportunities for our participants to experience adventure, connection, and a belief in their own abilities.
Based in Winter Park and Golden, Colorado, our participants can adventure in the mountains, on the trails, on the water, and beyond.
To advance the power of people with all abilities through adaptive innovation and the joy of recreation and outdoor experiences.
The NSCD believes everyone should have access to adventure and the outdoors, regardless of ability, background, or financial circumstances.
