Adaptive Horseback Riding Camp for People with Disabilities
This camp gives participants three days at the NSCD Adaptive Horseback Riding Center to learn how to groom, tack, and ride a horse while building skills and confidence in the saddle.
The schedule also includes craft time and NSCD favorites like archery and disc golf, rounding out a well-balanced, social camp experience. It’s a great chance to make new friends and try new activities in a supportive setting. Please note this is a day camp and does not include overnight accommodations.
Participant Info:
- Ages 4+
- Open to a variety of skill and ability levels with no prior experience needed
- Adaptive equipment available
- Maximum rider weight is 200lbs
- Independent self-care or caregiver support is required
