NSCD MediaThe huge crowd at Denver Botanic Gardens the other night wasn’t just there just for the exhibit of Chihuly glass art. A sold-out crowd of 500 had assembled there for Corks and Forks, a food and beverage tasting put on by the Winter Park-based National Sports Center for the Disabled.

The National Sports Center for the Disabled enables anyone, no matter the disability or condition, to hit the slopes through specialized equipment, programs and trainers. Not to mention 34 of the center’s athletes competed in the Sochi 2014 Paralympics.
