Join us for an introduction to sailing on Grand Lake, Colorado’s largest natural lake! Learn the basics of water and sailboat safety and enjoy a relaxing float with our volunteer sailing instructors. Enjoy stunning views of Rocky Mountain National Park and the historic town of Grand Lake. The NSCD will provide a personal flotation device (PFD) and helmet that is required during sailing programs. Our adaptive sailing program is a relaxing way for any eligible individual to experience recreation in the Rocky Mountains.
The NSCD recognizes and appreciates the generosity of the Grand Lake Yacht Club Sailing (GLYC) Foundation for underwriting the cost of this program. Their generosity allows us to offer a whole day program for only $15.

Our adaptive sailing program is a relaxing way for any eligible individual to experience recreational sailing in the Denver area.

There will be slots available for fifteen participants on each of the sailing dates. Our adaptive sailing program is a relaxing way for any eligible individual to experience recreational sailing in the Denver area. Care Giver Night is a wonderful evening meant for Individuals who require a caregiver for everyday life. Please feel free to call (303) 515-NSCD (6723) for more information. The price is set to include a participant and their care giver. Caregivers must fill out this form to attend.
