The NSCD is launching a new adaptive biking program beginning in April 2024. Try our mountain bike or road cycling programs! Join us on the trail as we seek adventure on a wide variety of cross country and paved trails! Our adaptive biking program is for people of all ages and all abilities.
Mountain Biking
Come mountain bike with the NSCD and find adventure on a wide variety of cross country trails! With a brand new fleet of fat tire and off-road recumbent mountain bikes and trained instructors, the NSCD offers opportunities for anyone — whether you’re a beginner or an experienced biker. The NSCD has a variety of leg and arm power assisted adaptive cycling options or a traditional fat tire bike for off-road adventures. Our instructors help you choose the bike that fits your individual needs and will provide an adventurous experience. Whether you are new to mountain biking or have biked previously, mountain biking presents unique athletic and mental challenges and demands a wide range of technical and judgment skills that can only be learned on the trail. A great way to hike on a bike!
